I love my boyfriend, but I do not see a future with him. When my boyfriend and I started talking, I was not interested in a relationship. I just saw him as a friend, but the truth is I found him extremely attractive and I was lonely. We worked together, so often after work, we would hang out. Over time feelings develop and we started spending every day with each other. I spent more time at his house than I did in mine. You know things are getting serious if you have a toothbrush at his place.
That's when it happened, he asked me to be his girlfriend. I said yes because he was cute and I was bored. I felt lonely, and I needed a distraction and a boyfriend was perfect for that. As I spend more time with him, I know he was not the one for me. I do not see him as my future husband, but every time I try to end things we'd somehow get back together. The same pattern kept happening, breakups, and makeups.
Then things ended, and I felt relief. Being with someone because you're lonely will only make you more miserable at the end. If you don't see a future with your partner, break up. Don't stay in a relationship to filled a void. It's better to be single, improving yourself, and leveling up. There are so many men out there, as long as you're a high-quality woman, you will always have an abundance of men. Choose yourself always, put yourself first.
